- Not quite "natural" - correction and addendum
Pardon me for putting my foot in my mouth, Chrissy.
After further reading about silica, it appears that it CAN be natural - appearing as quartz and other kinds of crystal - but that several forms are synthesized artificially. Most types of silica are considered unsafe to ingest or inhale, but it's not clear from the information I have whether or not the silica in Cyclic is natural, or which form it is they're using.
My comments here were not intended as a criticism of this product in particular, but more a general comment on the abuse of the word "natural" in marketing beauty products. We might have fodder for an article here ![]()
